Sharing your Generac production data with RECmint
Generac systems are monitored through PWRfleet, which your installer controls rather than you. Where we know who installed your system, we arrange access with them directly and there's nothing for you to do.
If we don't know who your installer is, or they don't come back to us, we'll ask you to contact them. What they need to do is share viewer access to your system with RECmint in PWRfleet. If they've never shared a system with us before, there's a quick one-time step on their side to link their account to ours first. After that, sharing individual systems is straightforward.
Email [email protected] once you've asked, and we'll let you know when the data starts arriving.
If your Generac installer is out of business
If your installer has closed down or you can't reach them, we can request access from Generac directly instead. We send Generac the Schedule A you already signed when you joined — the form that lets us manage your SRECs (Solar Renewable Energy Certificates — the certificates your system earns for the clean power it produces) — and we take it from there.
You don't need to contact Generac yourself.
If your Generac system goes offline
Generac doesn't back-fill production for the time a system was offline, so anything it missed can't be recovered. If your reporting stops, it's worth sorting out quickly.
